it's the most wonderful time of the year...almost.

Halloween isn't exactly my favorite holiday, but I love it because it signals the beginning of Fall and the holiday season, which includes my two favorite holidays:Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Right now is about the time when I start watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas songs. I'm working on my Christmas list, and names have already been drawn for Secret Santas (: This year will be especially great, since one of my favorite people ever, Uncle John's fiance Adie, is coming to NC for Christmas. And New Year's.
We also get to spend this Christmas with Caleb, who wasn't with us last year. Ashton and Chris and Keaton and Emma won't be here though. ): But this Christmas is the year mark for Keaton's mission. I am so excited to talk to him!
I'm also starting to make my list for Chistmas shopping.
Some of my favorite things about Christmas are:
1.Christmas parties on both sides of the family.
2.Secret Santas with all of my sibilings.
3.Me and Casey sitting under the tree shaking presents and guessing what they are.
4.Reading out of our Christmas Book; a big red binder with a Christmas story for every day of December. We also pick a Christmas book to read at Family Home evening together.
5.Serving others so that their Christmas is better. That is like, my top favorite. I love knowing that I helped somebody.
6.Ward Christmas Pary!
7.Giving gifts.
8. Getting a pair of PJ's and new ornaments every Christmas Eve.
9. All of the sibilings sleeping in the same room Christmas Eve. Usually. We try to, anyways. Kind of. The point is, we used to do it all the time. Keaton would always sleep in front of the door so we couldn't get out and see our presents. I remember one time though when he took us down there to see what we got. Dang it, I miss him.
10.Getting hot chocolate and going around town seeing everybody's Christmas decorations.

This is really early, but I can't wait till December to post this. Haha well, Happy Holiday Season! (:

it's about time!

My room has been a project for a long time. We'd get something cute, and it'd sit in my room until a day when we felt motivated and put up the decorations. Today was one of those days.



My mom and dad were at Pier 1 Imports or whatever it's called and my mom just started looking for something to go over my bed. My dad happened to see this, and got it for me. My dad and I have crazy dreams, and we ALWAYS share every dream we have with each other.
So I thought this sign was fitting and cute.
(Sorry only 'REAM' is showing. The lighting wasn't exactly amazing in my room.)



My mom knows me well. We both love being organized and having everything planned out ahead of time. I came home from school one day and this was awaiting me.
I pretty much love it.
